- As of 1-Aug-2023, Magic-ray machines will by default remove button batteries for better and easier shipment considerations.
- The battery is in the server board of the PC. The battery powers the server board’s RTC (real time clock) and is used only to maintain the system time and BIOS information in the CMOS.
- Without the battery, the system time will change to factory manufacturing date. So in actual installation, please kindly put a local button battery into the machine and set the machine to correct real time.
- Battery model: Lithium manganse dioxide button cell KTS CR2032 3.0V 220 mAh 0.66Wh.
Removing the button battery will gain following advantages
- Reduce logistics and custom declaration costs
- Easier and faster custom declarations
- Reduce potential battery leak risks
Based on all of above considerations, since 1-Aug-2023, all Magic-ray machines will by default remove button battery for ease, better and faster of international shipment.
