Serial Number Encoding Rules Before June 2022

Rules for Encoding Serial Numbers
- The serial number is composed of five parts, with no symbols between each part. Using “MI0001P24” as an example:
  - M: Represents MagicRay as the manufacturer.
    - “M” can symbolize MagicRay.
  - I: Represents the inline or offline roduct.
    - I: Inline
    - O: Offline
  - 0001: Represents the running number assigned to the product.
    - Adopt four Arabic numbers to represent the running number of the machine. The numbering starts from 0001 and is reset to zero and rearranged in order every year on January 1st.
  - P: Represents the year in which the product was manufactured.
    - Use a capital letter to represent the year when the machine was assembled, starting from A for the year 2010 when Magic was founded.
      - A:2010
      - B:2011
      - C: 2012
      - D: 2013
      - E: 2014
      - F: 2015
      - G: 2016
      - H: 2017
      - I: I is similar to 1, so it is excluded to avoid confusion.
      - J: 2018
      - K: 2019
      - L: L is similar to l and 1, so it is excluded to avoid confusion.
      - M: 2020
      - N: 2021
      - O: O is similar to 0, so it is excluded to avoid confusion.
      - P: 2022
  - 24: Represents the week of the year in which the product was manufactured.
    - Adopt two Arabic numbers to represent the number of weeks that the machine has been assembled in a particular year, according to ISO8601:2004, where the week of January 4 is considered the first week. In case of any conflict between the week number and year, the week number should be determined based on the year.

  - P: Represents the year in which the product was manufactured.
    - Use a capital letter to represent the year when the machine was assembled, starting from A for the year 2010 when Magic was founded.
      - I: I is similar to 1, so it is excluded to avoid confusion.
      - L: L is similar to l and 1, so it is excluded to avoid confusion.
      - O: O is similar to 0, so it is excluded to avoid confusion.
      - P: 2022
      - Q: 2023
      - R: 2024
      - S: 2025
  - 24: Represents the week of the year in which the product was manufactured.
    - Adopt two Arabic numbers to represent the number of weeks that the machine has been assembled in a particular year, according to ISO8601:2004, where the week of January 4 is considered the first week. In case of any conflict between the week number and year, the week number should be determined based on the year.
  - 0001: Represents the running number assigned to the product.
